There Was Blood On My Tissue And A Small Amount

There was blood on my tissue and a small amount in the toilet when I wiped, however there's no real pain maybe a very slight discomfort almost as if I scratch something and even though its not a continuous bleeding it was still alarming since that was the most blood I've seen come from that area. I almost thought I was starting my menstrual. What could this be?
