This has been bothering me for quite some time and I haven't been able to get an answer. A few years ago I was laying in bed watching tv when I suddenly sneezed. It wasn't violent or abnormal, but it felt like something popped down around the hip area. A few hours later my whole body started it ache and a very strong sensation over came when I sat up, laid on my back, sneezed again, etc. weeks went by and the aches and pain slowly started to fade. About two years later I gave chiropractic a try, he took a few X-rays and gave a sound of confusion when we got to my tailbone. He said, and I quote, "it's in the shape of a J, did you break it some time ago?" My story above was the only thing I could think of as I am not a sports player or any kind. Are there any other similar cases? Can sneezing really fracture a tail bone? I have looked at countless websites and every person I've asked always gives me a different answer.
