This Is Going To Be Rather Strange, But Please Bare

This is going to be rather strange, but please bare with me. Me and my boyfriend of 2 years were having oral sex and decided to spice things up by using an edible/ strawberry scented lubricant. Since we used it I have had a severely inflamed vagina, I've used vagisal on it and soaked myself in a bath with has taken the swelling down, however I just want to know what it could be and how I can resolve the situation?
