This Is Probably Not Related To Any Health Questions At

This is probably not related to any health questions at all, but im in highschool and i want to become a pediatrician. In order to become a doctor do you have to be a nurse? if not what job would be taken in the medical field while studying to become a doctor? any tips? thank you very much! im so confused at this point.
