This May Be A Stupid Question But.... Recently I Have

This may be a stupid question but.... Recently I have had lash extensions applied and the stylist who applies them smokes.... I am highly allergic to nicotine and smoke and I am concerned I may be allergic to her applying the lashes? Is this possible? The smell alone is awful but I don't want to hurt her feelings. It is a very high end salon and I have been going there for years. Please advise. Thank you!
