This Morning My 13 Yr. Old Son Noticed A Very

This morning my 13 yr. old son noticed a very small hard like bump on the side of his foot, just down from his small toe. Hard to determine if this is a wart or a corn. Years ago he had a bad wart cut out for the bottom side of his foot, but at the time he was taking swim lessons in our High School pool, which explained how he would have gotten it. He has not had any public contact of the sort in a very long time, except an occasional bowling outing, of which he wore socks in the rented shoes. Looking at this little bump, there is no little black dot in the center, like there was with the previous wart. A visit to the doc or a visit to my local pharmacy????
