This Morning, My Left Ear Seemed "popped'" Like There Was

This morning, my left ear seemed "popped'" like there was a change in pressure and I had the urge to swallow or hold my nose and blow. I took 30 mg of Sudafed, which didn't seem to make a difference, though the congested feeling has abated. Now I can hear better, but there is a sound of trickling, bubbling or dripping water. No pain at all. Thoughts?
