This Week, I Had A Fever Of 104.4 And Went

This week, I had a fever of 104.4 and went to my doc. Got bloodwork and ultrasound of my gallbladder. My liver and gall bladder are inflamed. Supposed to have CT of abdomen next week. Put me on Cipro and Flagyl. Now, embarassingly, I think it is toxic shock syndrome and I think I have a tampon in from a month ago. Is this still an emergency or will the Cipro and Flagyl help? Planning on going to my OBGYN tomorrow but when I read about TSS it scared me to death.
