Three Years Ago I Had Sinus Surgery To Remove Pollops

Three years ago I had sinus surgery to remove pollops blocking my nasal passages. After the surgery I told the doctor I smelled an odor that, to me, smelled like dirty feet. He checked and did not find anything unusual in my sinuses. He told me to rinse my sinuses daily with a nasal wash. I have done this religiously using 'NeilMed' sinus rinse. Over time I get this terrible odor from my nasal passages. It smells like something rotten. It has now become bad enough that my husband can smell it when our faces are close. It is terrible! Several times a day I blow my nose and it is disgusting. It is very thick, a deeply cloudy green and there is a great amount. What is this? What can I do to get rid of this?
