To Who This Concerns, I Am A 29 Year Old
To who this concerns,
I am a 29 year old female 5'2'' 115 lbs, very active and fit, and have been a smoker on and off since I was about 17. I AM NOT PREGNANT but I have noticed a darkening of the skin around my belly button. I have also noticed small, but many, new "beauty marks" in places they have never been, the bottom of my foot was the first I had noticed, now they are on my shoulders, arms, chest, and back. I have been nauseous, have had a reduced appetite, sore throat, extreme hoarsness (which I had attrubuted to being a smoker) and have the feeling of something stuck in my throat and mid-chest, at the solar plexus. I attributed the last few symptoms to the Celexa (20mg) my doctor perscribed recently, but since ceasing the medication, those symptoms have persisted, and the hoarsness and the feeling of something being caught in my throat/sore throat exsisted prior to taking the medication. I saw a specialist to rule out the possibility of oral cancer, which we have done. I'd like to know what I should do.... my doctor doesn't seem to take me seriously, and feels I worry too much.
