Today, I've Been Feeling Like Something Is Touching The Back

Today, I've been feeling like something Is touching the back of my throat. I looked and there is a piece of flat squared skin sticking up at the back of my tongue and it's curled on the sides. First time I've ever noticed or felt this. It feels like the top uvula is touching it and that's what Ive been feeling. Is this normal?
