Today My 2 Yr Got A Hold Of A Q

Today my 2 yr got a hold of a q tip from our bathroom and poked it in too far and made his ear bleed. He screamed when it happened and the ear became red. I gave him motrin and he went to sleep. When he awoke I noticed dry blood inside his ear like if it had bled again while sleeping. Should I take him to hospital? He seems really fussy.
