Tonight I Was Picking Up Some Trash Outside Around My

Tonight I was picking up some trash outside around my porch and I saw one of my diabetic lancets on the ground and went to pick it up and accidentally poked my thumb. It must of gotten out of my trash can somehow. It bled just as a normal drop amount like I would be taking a sample to test my sugar. I cleaned my thumb washing with antibacterial soap put some hydrogen peroxide on it and some neosporin. It wasn't rusty at all but being probably from the trash just wanted to check if I should do anything else. I am not type 1 or type 2 diabetic I am borderline and have been watching and testing my sugar to monitor it through my diet and food. What are your thoughts?
