Took Clomid This Cycle. All Went Well Other Than Hot

Took clomid this cycle. All went well other than hot flashes. My period due on 26th, in 3 days, but yesterday I have been having come-and-go stabby pains on either sides of lower abdomin. Yesterday it lasted a few minutes and today a few minutes again. Its subsided but what could cause stabby pains. They do not feel like menstrual cramps. Menstrual pain is dull and constant.
