Transabdominal And Transvaginal Pelvic Ultrasound Was Performed. The Endometrial Stripe

Transabdominal and transvaginal pelvic ultrasound was performed. The endometrial stripe is heterogenous and mildly irregular. Impression: 1. Heterogeneous, irregular, and thickened endometrial stripe with some small sonolucencies which may represent cystic change. Recommend sampling for further evaluation. 2. Nonvisualized right ovary. 3. There is a 1.5 cm hypoechoic mass left ovary which is probably a follicular cyst. Consider a follow-up study in six weeks to document involution. My question is how would the sampling for impression 1 be done?
