Treated by burr hole for subdural hematoma in August (cause unknown); follow-up ct scan in September showed some residual blood; another scan was done last week, but neurologist will not be available for consultation until January. I would like to take a 4-hour flight to visit family for the holidays, but I'll pass if there is risk of messing up the healing process (69 years old, fit and otherwise healthy). Thank you for any advice.
