Twelve Days Ago I Received A Puncture Into The Top

Twelve days ago I received a puncture into the top of my left hand. It immediately went numb up my arm.
Went to prima care to check if I had thorn...the area was cleaned and flushed and given a week of antibiotics.
My concern now is lack of use of this hand. Need suggestion on who to see if maybe I have struck a nerve. The pain comes and goes as does mobility. I don't want to waste time in clinic if Heat or Ice and time will heal. But my husband thinks it may be serious. Can you help me figure this out?
