Two Months Ago, I Fell In The Bathroom, Hitting My

Two months ago, I fell in the bathroom, hitting my shin hard on the bathtub sides. I didn't massage or treat it in any way, as I thought the pain would just pass. But now the ache is intense and constant, and there is swelling and pains in my ankle. And then the skin around the shin area I hit looks darkened and shrinking with itching and severe pain. What could be the problem?
