Two Months Ago My Husband Had A Rash In His

Two months ago my husband had a rash in his groin area, that looked like a yeast infection, the kind I get under my belly in the summertime. I had some leftover yeast infection cream so I gave it to him to use along w/ some medicated powder as well. It cleared up well and about a month ago he noticed that his testicles are hanging lower and they have a dull ache. What do u think it could be? He is 58 yrs old.
