Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Two weeks ago I had a small raised red bump resembling a pimple on the interior part of my right arm. Over a few days time it became larger, red, inflamed and painful to the touch. After one week the underlying tissue became firm and bulbous. I swabbed it with betadine solution and lanced it. I expressed a small amount of pus then sanitized with chlorhexidine scrub. I bandaged it and now I have a very similar bump bilaterally two days later. Is this common?
