Two Weeks Ago I Had An Operation To Ablate My

Two weeks ago I had an operation to ablate my varilose vein in my leg. The leg healed beautiful but the skin just above the ankle , in front , is red and sensitive to touch and painful. I wear a thigh high stocking. When I am off my feet the pain subsides but as soon as I walk around the pain and the redness comes back. I am taking an antibodic and using dry heat but it seems to me this is not getting better. Tests show there is no blood clot . Is there something else I could do?
