Two Weeks Ago, While At A Routine Dermatology Visit, I

Two weeks ago, while at a routine dermatology visit, I asked about two areas each on opposite sides of my ankles that had small blisters and were quite itchy (I thought they were bug bites at first). My doctor thought it was poison ivy or some other contact dermatitis and gave me a steroid cream. Those blisters are drying up and are no longer itchy. Two weeks later, I now have five or six spots on my collar bone and on the opposite ear lobe (there are a few short streaks on the mastoid area). They are itchy, as before but there are no blisters and it now looks more like a rash than bug bites. I'm 64 years old, had the shingles vaccine six years ago. I was planning on going to a party tonight with a pregnant woman and someone being treated for cancer. I'm wondering if my symptoms sound like shingles.
