Usually I Don't Have Hight Blood Pressure, But Now I

Usually I don't have hight blood pressure, but now I lost my younger brother and the last one is passing tests before heart operation. I am very sad, I don't sleep more than three hours by night. yesterday, my heart doctor told me that I have blood pressure 170 and I should take telmisartan 40mg. so I took one pill today, and started having headache.
My question : if my family doctor found after two weeks that my pressure became normal, what should I do ? Stop the telmisartan or keeping on taking it the rest of my lie ?
N.B. my weight is everage, I don't smoke or drink, very rarely I eat home-made sweets and I used olive and grape seeds oil.
