Was Advised To Take 1000mg Of Oral B12 Daily. Level

Was advised to take 1000mg of oral B12 daily. Level recently checked is 271. Have noticed tremendous bruising and bleeding on tops of hands, more so than ever. Not on NSIADS or aspirin, other medication have not changed (Vit D, Singular, Lexapro, Co-Q, pravastatin) Could this dose of B12 be causing this? No gum bleeding. Recent platelet count, Hgb/Hct and WBC are WNL Creatinine 1.04, BUN 15, Chem - 12 WNL. Thanks for your input.
