Was Prescribed Clindamycin On 8/15/18 To Take 3 Times Daily

Was prescribed clindamycin on 8/15/18 to take 3 times daily every 8 hrs. Was unable to take every 8 hrs due to scheduling so took pills 2 times daily during weekdays and 3 times on weekends. I have 3 doses left. Am now experiencing vaginal extreme itching and redness. Am inclined to not finish doses. Is this something to be overly concerned about?
