Was Released From The Hospital Yesterday But Was Having Trouble

Was released from the hospital yesterday but was having trouble with constipation (was only there overnight). The nurses gave me Metamucil and said it would work in 4 hours. However, I am more than half way thru today and have tried suppository and enema and manual and have had no luck. Any suggestions? Did get a little out with manual manipulation.
