"We Are Heart Broken. Our 16 Year Old Terrier Mix

"We are heart broken. Our 16 year old terrier mix died this week in the pool. It was blind, deaf and had limited mobility. It had gone out about 6 times in an about 90 minute period. On its 5th time out it threw-up its dinner. We always went out and helped him in after a few minutes. The 6th time out he didn't come back after a few minutes. We found him dead in the pool. There was quite a bit of foamy, bloody discharge from the nose and mouth. Whaqt happened? Did he have a cardiac event and fall in the pool? Did he struggle, suffer and drown? We need to know.
