We did spring cleaning today, loads of dust and dog fur. I also accidentally made some sort of noxious gas when I mixed clr and bleach in an attempt to clean the bathroom. I threw mix down tub drain, and rinsed and washed tub with dawn dish detergent. I have a one yr old daughter and two year old son who I bathed in tub after. They went to sleep, my son (in his sleep as far as I can tell) starts freaking out, screaming, going in the fetal position holding his face. In the light.. his eyes, nose, and top lip were red and puffy, his face was swollen really.i only had adult benadryl pills available I immediately crushed one and applied maybe 1/4 to 1/3 of the powder on his tongue. Also, some children's tylenol because he was in pain, screaming. Since, the swelling has gone down quite a bit. However, his top lip is still swollen, how long should I be worried? Nothing in our diet or routine was any different other than the dust and gas.. is this an allergic reaction to dust possibly? Or could it be the bath? My daughter was in with him and she has no symptoms, but she's also on antibiotics and tylenol for an ear infection. Please help? Did I do the right thing?
