We Had Our Dog At The Vet Yesterday Because He

We had our dog at the vet yesterday because he has been not eating at all,not pooping or having a hard time to have a little bit of poop and vomiting for a number of days. The vet asked if he was bleeding when he pooped. we thought no but just noted that his poop was very bright orange. We just found a whole BM done by him downstairs which was nothing but blood that is older maybe earlier yesterday before we took him to the vet. Should we call the vet to report these new findings ???
