We have a 2 year old daughter who developed loose stools/diarrhea almost 2 weeks ago. We saw traces of blood and mucus which have gotten worse at times. Today she had 4 bowel movements, one with very watery diarrhea, another with a lot of bloody mucus.

Her regular doctor ordered stool tests including stool culture, ova & parasite, clostridium difficile, giardia ag and all were negative.

This started at the same time as getting a bad cold (really 2 colds relatively close together).

How worried should we be?
