We Have A Condition In Our Family That First Manifests

We have a condition in our family that first manifests itself in deep veins that burst easily when an IV is inserted. This is happening to 3 generations. This led to brain aneroism( not sure about the spelling) where a blood vessel burst end. What is the reason and how can we prevent the blood vessels from burst. We have good cholesterol.
PS any time we have blood drawn Orin inserted , the nurses have to do that multiple times. Last time my daughter need 10 attempts before they found a vein that would not pop.
Help! Is it vit K issue or what. The walls are so thin?
