We Have Siblings Whose Boys Were Circumcised At A Hospital

We have siblings whose boys were circumcised at a hospital right after birth and their parents tell us that the boys had extra skin surrounding the head of the penis after circumcision. Now, im not sure if baby's foreskin/tissue/fats still grows a little even after being circumcised or if it was because the surgeon didn't cut well. I did do a little research for the benefit of the doubt because, I want my son to have a clean cut without the extra skin around the head and many say it's best to circumcise at 1 month or older so that the foreskin can reach some sort of maturity. Can you help shine some light on that for me?
