We Were Told That My Daughter Has A Shellfish Allergy

We were told that my daughter has a shellfish allergy and have thus avoided them. However, yesterday she was taken to a seafood restaurant where (because we called to ask afterwards) the seafood and her chicken tenders were all fried in the same oil. She had no reaction. Does this mean that she doesn't have an allergy?
