Wednesday Night, I Experienced The Following Symptoms. It Happened Four

Wednesday night, I experienced the following symptoms. It happened four times, in sort of waves, across a two-hour period. It would ease briefly, then start again.
Nausea, extreme sweating (even my finger tips were sweating), dizziness, faintness even while laying down (I couldn't sit up without starting to blackout), shallow breathing.
What could cause this? Could it be food poisoning or an allergic reaction?
