Welcome to 'Ask a Doctor'. Please type your question here...My 18 year old daughter on Monday was given a Menigitis ACWY immunization in one arm and a Meningitis B immunization in the other arm. She has since been in bed with fever, muscle aches, neck ache and a terrible headache. One of her arms she is barely able to move because the pain is so bad. She is allergic to IBUPROFEN, so we have been limited to Tylenol. Her fever was up to 103.8 this morning, but we were able to get it down to 98.8 earlier this afternoon. I am concerned that perhaps she was given too much of this vaccine as she only weighs about 90 pounds. It is the 4th of July and the Wellness Center is closed so I am unable to speak to a doctor. Could you give me any advice on this?
