Well I Had A Few Sweets Yesterday At School And

Well I had a few sweets yesterday at school and my face went red and blotchy and felt quite warm this lasted about 1/2 an hour. Later on after school I ate a packet of sweets and my face went red and warm again. That lasted for about 1 hour. What's going on?
