Well hi to you too just chanced on this site whilst trying to diagnose myself as I've given up on docs and hospitals. Fifteen years of pain (hell on earth) without diagnosis, everyone willing to write another prescription .I don't have health insurance so I'm on the public system..money talks again.! Anyway things are getting worse .I'm a young 46 yr old female two grown kids..have had back pain since I was 19 .was told in my mid 20.s I had ddd. Mind you they seem to have forgotten that. its more painkillers or injection s at out of hour times. It was only my back (constantly )but about 5 yes ago my left hip which meant on a bad day I couldn't walk or walk badly. Then about 3 yes ago on top of it after getting into car realised it hurt my left arm to pull the door.everything downhill since .hanging a few teatowles on a line I had a sudden cramp/spasm in my leftt calf.taught I had pulled a muscle.
but now my back left arm left hip and left calf were killing me with pain .went to doctor who already had me on waiting list for musculoskeletal app. Had mi only on my spine which showed problem with my t 12. No action was taken I wasn't even consulted until I asked for the results. they gave me more painkillers which don't even work just make bits of my stomach.I've been so receding with the pain that I can't and haven't slept for more than an hour at any stage in the last 3 yr s I've manage to get one or two morphine injections from my doctor or the odd sleeping tablet but it's not like a real sleep. My left arm had become progressively worse in the last six months.I'm dropping things in hurts to wash my hair peel a potato do the dishes .can't open a pull ring can the middle of my arm hurts constantly can't lift the kettle or a cup of tea .had an injection into my shoulder about 3 weeks ago.it hurt like Hell my arm is worse so is my shoulder and neck no one told me that injection is given without anasthetic. I'm still not sleeping lying on my back with my legs up was the only way I could go to bed even though no sleep I could turn from side to side for short amounts of time but then my hip buttocks would start and I'd turn again .now I'm finding my left arm in the way it's on a cushion on the bedside locker or I have to turn on my stomach and put it under the pillow. It has to be straight out for any relief but it still feels heavy. I'm not an overweight person by the way.I'm 50kg or about 8s and 5th 2. Have been pretty active up to now but the pain is winning lately. No sleep so mentally and physically exhausted and when I do move in the morning you'd think I was 150 yr it takes an hour to shake off. I have a son who has had some pretty serious bouts of asthma and because of been ventilated had some damage to blood vessels in his nose which have to be cauterised every now and then..I instead of making an appointment with him asked him why this stuff runs down my nose every time my back is in extreme pain and he said it sounded serious..he asked me what it's like and all I could think of was the white o an egg if I bend down even to put on a shoe it poors especially when my back is very bad If you think yov heard it all stop .at the same time my arm gave in about 3-4 years ago so did my fingers. First it was the wind then a small bit of cold . Now I can't go into the freezer section of a supermarket. Can't touch the tap at home with cold water even in summer hate taken stuff from the freezer.my fingers and hands spontaneously go the stranest shades of yellow green and dead like a corpse and the coming back to normal is even more painfull. Now there are my symtoms and tell me a doctor who can put a name on that. I'd be very luck to say I had an ear ache ..If I get that in its a prescription I don't want bloody tablets I want to know what's wrong and then a tablet I can't live like this much longer. I need a nights sleep a nd maybe the odd day that I can function like a normal human. Dee
