Went To ENT Today Said I Had A Fungal Infection,

Went to ENT today said I had a fungal infection, he used a vacuum like thing to suction out what was in there and used some kind of foam or cream and filled my whole ear canal up with this stuff... sent me home with a script to use hydrocortisone and acetic acid 3 times a day for a week...my question is what is the cream he used in my ear my hearing is gone it looks like some kind of white thick lotion. Am I supposed to use the drops with this stuff still in my ear?
