Went To My Dr. Today And He Prescribed Promethazine W/codeine.

Went to my Dr. Today and he prescribed promethazine w/codeine. For my bronchitis & coughing. But when I noticed not helping my cough. So I looked at the bottle it says promethazine HCl. That's not the same as what he prescribed. Did pharmacy mess up? My doctor's office is closed tomorrow. Should I call pharmacy?
