Went To My Doc Last Week, He Said I Had

Went to my doc last week, he said I had a severe ear infection, eardrum was swollen and red. Took prednisone for 6 days and amoxicillin. Went back yesterday...no change. He sent me to a ENT...he said I had no ear infection, I have TMJ. I just googled that and I have none of those symptoms...
