What Are My Chances Of Getting Throat Cancer At This Time?

I am a 23 year old woman, and I am really afraid that I may be developing throat cancer. My parents say it is just pollen and allergies, but my whole throat and mouth feel extremely odd and heavy, almost as if I have a lump of mucas. How can I tell if it is throat cancer?
