What Are The Chances Of Getting Pregnant After Depo Provera Shot?

My boyfriend and I are wanting to have a child. We are unsure if I am able because I was on and off the DepoProvera shot for 5 years. I have been off of it for a year now. Are we trying at the wrong time? Is there anything that can increase our chances of me getting pregnant?
