What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy After An Abortion?

I recently had an abortion at 8 weeks and two days. I have abstained from sex for 12 days but my doctor instructed me to wait for two weeks first. I am worried that i may have put myself to risk because i did not wait for those two extra days plus we did not use a condom during the first few mins of the intercourse. I am not on contraceptive pills yet, I am also worried that i have chances of getting an infection? I would appreciate if you could please advise on how to proceed from here as i am currently traveling and do not have access to my doctor. Thank you.
