What Are The Chances Of Recurrence Of Benign GIST?

Hi, I had a 17.2 cm GIST removed in November. It was attached to the outside of my stomach, was benign, and had a mitotic rate of 1 - 3. Because of it s size, my oncologist says I have a 25% chance of re-occurrence. He is recommending I start on Glevec for 36 months. Would you concur Doctor?
