What Are The Dangers Of Unteated UTI's? I Only Have

What are the dangers of unteated UTI's? I only have one kidney. My right kidney was removed because of a tjmor that was benign. I have been seeing my regular doctor and a urologist for infrequent UTI's. I have been on and off antibiotics (Marobid) since last April. The urologist said the bacteria has colonized and an antibiotic won't clear it up. I have a string odor now and cloudiness, (which is embarrassing), but not blood, pain or burning all at the same time whjch they said I have to have to see an infectious disease doctor.
I would welcome some input. I am a female, 69 years old.
