What Are The Effects If Elevated Calcium Levels In Blood?

Our 40 year old son had recent blood work done. It reported that he had elevated calcium in his blood. He was told to have it done again. We are still waiting for the 2nd results. What do you think we should be looking for? No other medical problems other than depression and long term medications. Thank You.
