What Are The Effects Of Taking Ambien With An Anti Depressant?

I have a family history of depression & have suffered with it for over 30yrs. I have been on Effexor XR for the past 10 years. Since October I have been taking 5mc of Ambien nightly. The past 3 weeks I have been having daily anxiety and feel myself slipping. Is their any research about the effects of Ambien when taken with an anti-depressant? My husband & I have just moved over 200 miles to be closer to Cancer treatment as he has Multiple Mylomia, therefore I don t have a primary care physician. YYYY@YYYY
