What Are The Future Consequences Of Injury Near Eardrum?

My eldr son (7 yrs) was cleaning his ears with bud simultaneously he was playing with my younger son (2 yrs) when accidently my younger son pushed my elder son and he injured his right ear and he started crying in great pain. I consulted a doctor who advised him some medicine and drops. Also the doctor informed me that the bleeding was due to some injury near his eardrum. I would like to know if he will face any problems in future, pls. reply
