What Are The Ill Effects Of Missing Contraceptive Pills?

I am on microgynon 30. I lost a pill 6 days into my new packet, so didn't take one pill on the 6th day. I continued to take the pills as normal and had unprotected sex just 4 days after the day that i didn't take a pill. Will I still have been protected? All information indicates missing one pill is not a problem as long as you take the missed pill when you remember even if its at the same time as the next day, however I did not do this.
