What Are The Possible Complications Of Mirena IUD?

hello, my name is emily. i am an 18 year old female that was recently diagnosed with polycystic ovarians disease. i suffer from abnormal periods and went to my local womens health center. after having an exam, bloodwork, and an ultrasound, i was suggested to go on an iud called mirena. however, i have never had sex, or child obviously... do you see any objections or possible complications that could arise from this?
